Remember when everyone was all mad at Iran, for various reasons both legitimate (the whole Holocaust denial thing) and more questionable (mixed reports on how close the country is to having access to nuclear weapons)? And saying things like this?
And remember how everyone got even more mad at Iran last week, when they test-fired those missiles? Well, guess what? Yesterday, Iran announced the discovery of a new billion-barrel oil field. And soon thereafter, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he would be cool having some diplomatic chats with the U.S. And suddenly, the U.S. was like, “Totally!” Isn’t it funny how that worked out? How nice that countries are in such a friendly mood and with no ulterior motives! Hooray!
